Obama Executive Order Imposes Martial Law On United States

On Friday evening Barack Hussein Obama signed into existence “National Defense Resources Preparedness,” an Executive Order which will afford the president dictatorial powers over the nation and the American people whenever he chooses to implement it. 

Some of the more important—and frightening—dictates of the Obama decree:

The President can place the Order in effect virtually whenever and for whatever reason he wishes. Although related to the Defense Production Act of 1950, written as a result of the Korean War, the current Executive Order makes it clear that the nation need not be at war or threatened with aggression by outside forces to be implemented. The Order specifically states that it may be activated in peacetime.

All actions of the Order are ultimately controlled by the President. Obama has appointed the National Security Council and DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano as the “integrated policymaking forum” for all Order policies.

All commerce will be conducted according to the demands of the President. All “services, materials and facilities” may be commandeered by the President “as deemed necessary or appropriate to promote the national defense…”

Regulations will be issued by the President’s representatives, establishing nationwide standards and procedures of production. The entire economy will literally work under the President’s direction. He and his representatives will also decide how all important resources shall be apportioned. They will “control the general distribution of any material (including applicable services) to the civilian market.”

The President’s representatives will have authority to grant or guarantee loans for the production of goods and materials or to “create, maintain, protect, expand or restore domestic industrial base capabilities essential for the national defense.” They may also “encourage the exploration, development and mining of strategic and critical materials…” Apparently oil may be sought only after the President has become a dictator.

Manufacturers will not be permitted to produce or sell goods unless authorized by the President. Anything produced will be made available for the President’s (that is, the nation’s) use before it may be offered elsewhere. The President’s representatives have authority to take over privately owned companies, plants and facilities, modify them, add or delete equipment and “authorize” production schedules. In short, private businessmen will be told what to make, how to make it, how much, when and for whom.

The Director of Selective Service and the Secretary of Defense will decide who will be inducted into the armed forces and who will be deferred.

In addition to those powers listed above, the President will also control all civil transportation; all forms, supplies and suppliers of energy; farm equipment; all food resources; food resource facilities; all water resources; health resources; strategic and critical materials and national defense.

And there are two additional items to consider. Janet Napolitano will be in charge of the National Defense Executive Reserve program. NDER refers to individuals recruited for specific tasks based upon specific abilities. And though they might be builders, they could also be mercenaries armed by Obama to “control” an unruly populace.

Also, emergency preparedness mandates of Obama’s Executive Order will be carried out according to title VI of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief Act. Managed for years by FEMA, the Act is known for its creation of “temporary housing” facilities for displaced persons also known as FEMA camps.

As the American people consider what Obama has done, it is also necessary to ask why. Does he know or expect something the American public does not? And how will the enslavement of 300 million Americans make the United States better prepared for the requirements of “national defense?” Sleep well, America.

Obamacare provision will allow 'forced' home inspections

Citing the Heath and Human Services website, a report says that under Obamacare, government agents can engage in "home health visits" for those in certain “high-risk” categories.

Those categories include:

• Families where mom is not yet 21;

• Families where someone is a tobacco user;

• Families where children have low student achievement, developmental delays, or disabilities, and

• Families with individuals who are serving or formerly served in the armed forces, including such families that have members of the armed forces who have had multiple deployments outside the United States.

According to HHS, the visits fall under what is called the "Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program" allegedly designed to “help parents and children,” and could impact millions of Americans.

Constitutional attorney and author Kent Masterson Brown said that despite what HHS says, the program is

not “voluntary."

"The eligible entity receiving the grant for performing the home visits is to identify the individuals to be visited and intervene so as to meet the improvement benchmarks," he said. "A homeschooling family, for instance, may be subject to 'intervention' in 'school readiness' and 'social-emotional developmental indicators.' A farm family may be subject to 'intervention' in order to 'prevent child injuries.' The sky is the limit."

Joshua Cook said that while the administration would claim the program only applies to those on Medicaid, the new law, by its own definition, has no such limitation.

"Intervention," he added, quoting Brown, "may be with any family for any reason. It may also result in the child or children being required to go to certain schools or taking certain medications and vaccines and even having more limited – or no – interaction with parents. The federal government will now set the standards for raising children and will enforce them by home visits.”

According to Cook, the program will require collection of a massive amount of private information including all sources of income and the amount gathered from each source.

One of the areas of emphasis mentioned by HHS is the "development of comprehensive early childhood systems that span the prenatal-through-age-eight continuum."

Last session, Cook added, South Carolina State Rep. Bill Chumley introduced a measure that would make the forced home visitations illegal in his state. The measure passed in the House but died in the Senate.

American Taxpayers Have Shelled Out Nearly $2 Million For State Dinners Under Obama

American taxpayers are opening up their collective wallets to fund White House state dinners.

Ahead of Tuesday night’s state dinner for French President Francois Hollande, CBS News learned that previous events have cost taxpayers over $500,000.

CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller obtained expense calculations from the Office of Protocol and found out Obama’s first five state dinners cost nearly $2 million.

Here is how the first five state dinners break down:

- State dinner for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Nov. 24, 2009 cost $572,187.36.

- State dinner for Mexican President Felipe Calderon on May 19, 2010 cost $563,479.92.

- State dinner for Chinese President Hu Jintao on Jan. 19, 2011 cost $412,329.73.

- State dinner for German Chancellor Angela Merkel on June 7, 2011 cost $215,883.36.

- State dinner for South Korean President Lee Myung-bak on Oct. 13, 2011 cost $203,053.34.

The State Department has not released how much the March 14, 2012 state dinner of British Prime Minister David Cameron cost.

The French president traveled to the U.S. alone on the heels of his very public break-up with Valerie Trierweiler, his longtime companion and de facto first lady. The seating arrangements weren’t finalized and there was no word on who will occupy the seat that would have gone to Trierweiler, who once had been expected to attend.

Tuesday night’s bash, which is the seventh state dinner under Obama, will take place inside a huge white tent on the South Lawn.

The wine list is strictly American, with selections from California, Washington state and Virginia.

So is the entertainment. Mary J. Blige, a nine-time Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter, producer and actress born in the Bronx, N.Y., will perform for some 350 guests who will be seated at a modern-looking assortment of round, square and oblong tables inside the tent.

White House social secretary Jeremy Bernard, who on Monday helped preview the dinner for U.S. and French media, explained the choice of Blige by saying she’s an internationally known singer who can help celebrate someone like the first-term French president. Blige is an Obama supporter who performed at the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C.

Hollande arrived in the U.S. on Monday and spent the afternoon with Obama touring Monticello, the Charlottesville, Va., home of President Thomas Jefferson, who was an early U.S. envoy to France. A formal welcoming ceremony will come Tuesday morning.

At the dinner, guests will first enter the White House and proceed through a receiving line to be greeted inside the oval-shaped Blue Room by Obama and his wife, before exiting and boarding an old-fashioned trolley for a ride to the tent for dinner and Blige’s high-octane musical performance.

The first course will feature American Osetra caviar, farmed from the estuaries of Illinois, paired with quail eggs from Pennsylvania and a dozen varieties of potatoes from farms in New York, Idaho and California.

That will be followed by a salad of petite radishes and baby carrots on a bed of lettuce and splashed with red-wine vinaigrette made using honey from the beehive on the South Lawn. The salad will be served in a clear, glass bowl and resemble a terrarium.

The main course, dry-aged rib eye beef from a farm in Greeley, Colo., will be served with blue cheese, charred shallots, oyster mushrooms and braised chard.

Dessert is chocolate malted cake, described as a modern version of a layer cake made with bittersweet chocolate from Obama’s native Hawaii, Florida tangerines and served with vanilla ice cream from Pennsylvania. After dinner, guests can dip into a serving dish made entirely of sugar to sample fudge made of Vermont maple syrup, shortbread cookies made with lavender from Mrs. Obama’s garden and cotton candy dusted with orange zest.

The square and round tables are covered in blue with clear-backed chairs, while the oblong tables have mirrored tops.

The White House florist, who studied floral artistry in Paris, created French-inspired bouquets

that are meant to evoke the feeling of a painting by Monet, the French impressionist. The “deconstructed” arrangements — that means the flowers and greenery are not all in one vase but are in separate vessels — were made using quince branches, acacia leaves, white and purple iris flowers and bamboo.

If you have 100 employees and you want to reduce your workforce to fit in the 50-99 category, you must prove to the IRS why you fired personnel.

Last night on The Kelly File hosted by Megyn Kelly on Fox News, Judge Andrew Napolitano pointed out Obamacare guidelines that may make it impossible for a business, even non-union businesses, to fire employees without IRS approval.  How is this even constitutional?  Where are the  Republicans on this?

Under the rules, employers must offer coverage to employees in 2014 and must offer coverage to dependents as well, starting in 2015. The new rules apply to employers that have at least 50 full-time employees or an equivalent combination of full-time and part-time employees. A full-time employee is a person employed on average at least 30 hours a week. And 100 half-time employees are considered equivalent to 50 full-time employees. Thus, the government said, an employer will be subject to the new requirement if it has 40 full-time employees working 30 hours a week and 20 half-time employees working 15 hours a week.
